Treatment Approach:

Hello! I am excited to meet you and can't wait to work with you!

I take pride on providing what I call the three Big E's of best practice (Efficient, Effective, and Ethical), and do my best to not only advocate for my clients, but empower them with the skills they need to advocate for themselves if ever needed. The foundation of my theoretical approach is built upon Person-Centered Theory. What this means is that I believe that YOU, the client, are the expert in your own life and ultimately knows what's best for you; my role is simply to listen, affirm, support, and help you find the strength you already have access to.

I also utilize other tools and skills from other theories such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Existential Theory, and Motivational Interviewing with a heavy utilization of PsychoEducation to increase a client's level of knowledge, skill development, and overall self-awareness.
